RYDCAST Payment & Billing Policy
Version: 2026-07-09
The RYDCAST service for South African businesses is provided by RYDCAST South Africa (Pty) Ltd. The RYDCAST platform technology is developed and licensed by CastTech Inc. RYDCAST™ and the RYDCAST logo are trademarks of CastTech Inc.
This policy explains wallet top-ups, proof-based billing, reserves, and driver payouts.
1. Contracting party
Advertisers contract with and pay **RYDCAST South Africa (Pty) Ltd** for platform advertising services. CastTech Inc. is the technology licensor and trademark owner, not the merchant of record for South African advertiser collections unless separately agreed in writing.
2. Advertiser wallet top-ups
- Advertisers fund an internal RYDCAST wallet before or during campaign activity.
- Wallet top-ups are collected through approved payment providers, including **Paystack**, using card or other methods enabled in the advertiser hub.
- Wallet balances are credited only after successful payment confirmation through provider callback and/or signed webhook verification.
- Top-up references, amounts, timestamps, and provider metadata are stored for audit, tax, fraud prevention, and reconciliation.
3. Campaign budget reserve
When an advertiser publishes a campaign, RYDCAST moves the required budget from the advertiser wallet into an internal campaign reserve. Campaigns may not publish if the wallet balance is insufficient.
4. Proof-based billing
- Advertiser spend is deducted only after **verified proof-of-play** or another approved billable event recorded in the RYDCAST proof and billing ledger.
- Proof records may include timestamps, geofence or proximity evidence, media-player or vehicle delivery evidence, creative fingerprints, and QR scan evidence where applicable.
- RYDCAST proof logs are billing records. RYDCAST does not guarantee reach, scans, sales, routes, or audience outcomes.
5. Driver payouts
- Drivers earn per verified delivery according to active campaign rules and platform settlement logic.
- Driver payouts are processed separately from advertiser Paystack collections and are generally made by bank EFT after KYC approval.
- A dispute reserve may be held on driver earnings for a defined period to cover billing disputes and reconciliation.
6. Fees and taxes
Advertisers are responsible for applicable VAT, withholding, or other taxes unless a written agreement states otherwise. Platform fees, if any, are disclosed in the advertiser hub, campaign summary, or invoice records.
7. Refunds and reversals
- Wallet top-ups are generally non-refundable once credited, except where required by law, payment-provider rules, or a confirmed billing error.
- Contested proof charges are handled through the RYDCAST Dispute Resolution Policy rather than by informal chargebacks against individual plays.
- Upheld disputes may result in billing reversals or reconciliation entries referencing the original proof charge.
8. Failed or reversed payments
RYDCAST may suspend campaign delivery, withhold publishing, or reverse wallet credits if a payment fails, is charged back, is disputed with the payment provider, or is associated with fraud signals.
9. Records and statements
Advertisers can access wallet activity, proof logs, campaign spend, and billing history in the advertiser hub. RYDCAST may provide statements or exports for reconciliation, tax, or audit purposes.
10. Changes
RYDCAST may update payment methods, reserve rules, payout timing, or billing mechanics as providers, law, or platform operations change.
