RYDCAST KYC & Onboarding Policy

The RYDCAST service for South African businesses is provided by RYDCAST South Africa (Pty) Ltd. The RYDCAST platform technology is developed and licensed by CastTech Inc. RYDCAST™ and the RYDCAST logo are trademarks of CastTech Inc.

This policy describes identity, business verification, and enhanced due diligence controls.

1. Purpose

RYDCAST collects onboarding information to:

Verify business authority and identity.
Prevent fraud, impersonation, and payment abuse.
Apply restricted-category and compliance controls.
Enable lawful payouts and billing reconciliation.

2. Advertiser onboarding data

Advertisers provide:

Company legal name, trading name, registration number, country, VAT or tax number, business category, address, and contact details.
Director or authorized representative name, role, ID or passport number, and mobile number.
Company registration document, director identity document, and optional proof-of-address or board-resolution documents.
Acceptance of Advertiser Terms, Privacy Policy, and related platform policies.

3. Advertiser EDD controls

RYDCAST South Africa (Pty) Ltd applies:

**Director-only registration** for new advertiser accounts.
**Manual document review** before production account activation.
**Restricted-category screening** for alcohol, tobacco, gambling, financial services, healthcare, political, dating/adult-adjacent, NGO/charity, and other high-risk categories.
**Locked registered fields** for company registration number and registered address until updated registry documents are approved.
**Campaign moderation** and placement controls for regulated content.

4. Driver onboarding data

Drivers provide:

Full name, mobile number, password, and SMS verification in production.
Government ID type and number, driver credential, selfie, and ID or licence photo.
Vehicle details and bank account information for payouts.
Bank confirmation document and playback device preferences.
Acceptance of Driver Terms and Privacy Policy.

5. Driver EDD controls

RYDCAST applies:

SMS OTP verification before account creation in production.
Operator review of selfie, ID document, and bank proof before payouts.
Payout holds while KYC is incomplete, rejected, or under review.
Ongoing fraud and proof-integrity monitoring.

6. Data protection

KYC documents and director PII are stored under access controls and encrypted at rest where the platform encryption service is enabled. RYDCAST does not sell KYC data.

7. Ongoing monitoring

RYDCAST may request updated documents after material business changes, payout anomalies, disputes, fraud alerts, or regulator requests.

8. Refusal or suspension

RYDCAST may refuse onboarding, pause campaigns, withhold payouts, or suspend accounts where information is false, incomplete, high-risk, or non-compliant.
